All Members: 

As we prepare for our Chapter activities for 2012, I thought I would reflect on 2011. 

Although we have had busier years with more Chapter events, we were pretty active and I would say, very productive as a whole. 

We had very successful events ‘organized and worked’ by the Chapter including the “Chilly Chili Poker Run, the annual Ron Relay Memorial Ride, and your Chapter once again did a super job organizing the annual Veterans Day parade. 

Your Chapter also participated in and ‘worked’ two other major Rolling Thunder® events; RTXXIV and The Ride Home, playing very important roles in each. The Chapter also received an award from National at the RTXXIV banquet for our participation and stepping up to help National whenever asked. 

I would like to acknowledge two Chapter members for receiving awards from the Chapter this year. 

Jean Levesque was voted by Chapter members as  “ 2011 Chapter Member of the Year”…….Congratulations! 

Al Anderson was awarded the 2011 Ron Relay Memorial Participation Award for 100% attendance of meetings and events……..Congratulations! 

Looking ahead to 2012, we must re-dedicate ourselves to the ‘mission’ of Rolling Thunder® and this great Chapter. We must reflect back on why we joined and why it is so important to ‘educate’ the public about our POW/MIA.  

We are all part of a great ‘team’ and I look forward to working with everyone for a very successful and rewarding year in 2012.
