December 9 - Care Bear Ride
Rolling Thunder NC-5 members, alongside the local HOG chapter, distributed stuffed animals to Onslow County Hospital, Onslow County Sheriff's Department, and the Camp Lejeune Medical Center. This initiative represents a gesture of giving back to a community primarily comprising military veterans, active and retired families, and individuals supporting our local veterans.
Our aim is to offer solace to children who might undergo distress due to illness, accidents (such as traffic incidents), or domestic challenges, potentially leading them to hospitals or encounters with law enforcement. These "care bears" serve as an immediate source of comfort for many children, particularly during the holiday season.
