Rolling Thunder Chapter NC-5 Honors SSgt Anthony Lee Goodwin by awarding scholarships to qualified applicants. Scholarships will be awarded for academic excellence and merit.  To qualify, the applicant must be a legacy of a current/ active member of Rolling Thunder®, Inc. Chapter NC-5; or must be a military family member with a valid I.D. card.  An applicant cannot have been a former recipient of this scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria

Requirements

  1. Not have been a former recipient of this scholarship and must meet the following criteria to be eligible:
  2. Applicants between the ages of 17 - 21

Sponsor must meet one of the following criteria

  1. Active duty military personnel serving in Onslow, Carteret or Craven County
  2. Active duty personnel currently fulfilling an unaccompanied PCS tour whose last duty station was in Onslow, Carteret or Craven County.
  3. Retired or deceased military personnel whose last duty station was in Onslow, Carteret or Craven County.
  4. Be a current/active member of Rolling Thunder, Inc. Chapter NC-5
